How submission works
Every manuscript begins with a free content review before any production work or fees are discussed. For 7 Gates Publishing submissions, this includes review by Orthodox rabbis to confirm the manuscript’s halachic content and Torah teaching meet our standards. For Or Noach Press submissions, this is an editorial review for fit and quality. No tier or fee accelerates or replaces this review. Only manuscripts that pass it move forward to production. Rabbinic review: what to expect
Before your book goes into design, we send your manuscript to Orthodox rabbis for review. They check that the teaching in your book is accurate and consistent with Torah and halachic sources for Bnei Noach. Every author goes through this step, including rabbis. We choose the reviewers, and no author reviews their own book. Here is how it works: – You send us your manuscript. – Our reviewing rabbis read it. We aim to finish within 30 days. – If they find content that needs correcting, we send you their notes in writing and you revise. – Once your manuscript clears review, we move on to cover design and interior layout, and you review those with us before publication. – If a manuscript cannot be brought in line with our standard, we may decline to publish it.
